The first episode was produced as a pilot in an ABC Series of pilots for potential shows called
The Comedy Showroom first broadcast on 04 May 2016.
In late 2017, the other six episodes commissioned were run after the pilot - now called Episode 1 - with the series commencing at 9:35 pm AEDST on Wednesday 25 Oct 2017 on ABC-1, running 2 Nov (Episode 2) , 9 Nov (Episode 3), 16 Nov (Episode 4), 23 Nov (Episode 5) 30 Nov (Episode 6) and finishing its run on Wednesday 6 December.
